At Protect Potato, our mission is to ultimately end the sale and use of aerial fireworks by both consumers and professionals. We intend to create a social dialogue that will drive a cultural shift away from aerial fireworks and toward better alternatives. That is how we plan to protect Potato. 

No dog should have to be terrified or drugged nightly for almost four months out of the year. However, this is the reality for many dogs in the region. In Denver, Fourth of July fireworks are an almost nightly nuisance from mid-June until August and New Year's Eve fireworks last almost as long. The fireworks here are not only illegal, but a public nuisance. This is simply unacceptable and it seems that public opinion, at least in Denver, is moving in that direction. 

We are starting this campaign with a petition to city officials to replace any upcoming city-sponsored firework displays with drone shows. Please sign our petition below to support holiday celebrations that everyone can enjoy, even Potato!
