Un-neighborly
Fireworks are a public nuisance and can arguably be classified as "anti-social" behavior. (Not to be confused with "asocial", meaning someone who simply dislikes socializing and prefers to be alone.) Anti-social behavior is such that disregards the feelings and rights of others in the society and actively causes harm. Many people defend the use of aerial fireworks as a "personal freedom". However, it is not simply a personal choice when it affects everyone and everything around them for literal MILES. If nobody else in the vicinity is able to opt-out of the experience, it is neither "personal" nor is it "freedom".
